The Myth of Marriage
As a single princess living in a kingdom of one, I also wanted to include some posts for those readers who are in relationships. I have done some research and checked out some relationship guides that I think might work for you if you are in a happy relationship, a struggling one, or trying to find a partner. Marriage is the ultimate goal for many men and women and even though many people get married each year, most don’t do the ground work to have a long and successful one.
The Work Begins Before The Ring
Part of the difficulty with marriage is that the only training we get is “on the job.” However, the work on your marriage begins before the ring and the walk down the aisle.
This is why many people need a guide to help them before and while there married. The work to have a successful relationship never ends. Unfortunately, for many of us, we learned our relationship skills from others like our parents and/or friends. If those individuals were not in loving and long lasting marriages than we may be lacking skills sets in areas like communication, forgiveness, empathy, and compassion.
A Better Way
Now let’s imagine a world where we all had a guide to read, a video to watch, or a class to take with our significant other before we say, “I do.” Giving each couple a chance to reach and live their happily ever after.
Because most people don’t get married thinking it would ever end in divorce. People assume that good marriages are easy, and there is no struggle. There is the romantic belief that good relationships “just work.” We all need to understand that we need to put “in the work” to make our relationship successful.
The End Of Your Rope
For some of you, the marriage or relationship you are in may be at the point where it is coming to an end. You have asked for advice, done counseling, prayed, but the fighting continues.
Both of you are exhausted and have reached your breaking point. I personally hate to hear about any relationship ending. However, if one of you believes the relationship is still worth it then click here. I would love to hear if this guide worked for you. Please comment below.
